You and KPMG

Australia is witnessing a once-in-a-generation investment in power sector by all levels of government across Australia, backed by strong private sector participation.

Power system problems are becoming more complex due to paradigm shift in the way the power system has operated for decades. Fast changing technology in the renewable sector along with surge in development and penetration of these technology in the power system pose a challenge to power system engineers. These challenges require a good understanding of the fundamentals of power system and an attitude to think out of the box to come up with innovative solutions to non-traditional problems. Power System’s team is a part of a wider Engineering, Assets and Project Delivery team (EAPD) in KPMG and support all projects requiring power system studies.

Infrastructure, Assets and Places (IAP) is KPMG Australia’s combines our strategic, commercial, and technical capabilities. We are a national team and work with clients to meet their challenges at any stage of the project. Whether planning, procuring, delivering, operating or transitioning – we help to deliver projects that are environmentally sustainable, socially impactful and drive lasting economic growth.

Within IAP, our Engineering, Assets and Project Delivery team (EAPD) help clients to link business strategies with operational actions through data-led decision making to enable effective, efficient and safe delivery and operations of assets and infrastructure across the full lifecycle. Our work could include anything from developing business cases, managing infrastructure projects, building asset management capability, or optimising the maintenance and operations of assets.

At KPMG we are invested in a culture of learning and we support and encourage ongoing learning with financial support to formal qualifications, courses and conferences. We also believe it’s important to provide flexibility and our online learning via our Degreed platform gives access to over 1000 courses, LinkedIn Learning, and career progression support and mentoring.
